No. The material in Tegaderm
™
, Tegaderm

+Pad, Waterproof Strips and Tattoos have a shiny appearance
similar to plastic but it is actually made of a material called polyurethane. Polyurethane is microporous
(has many microscopic holes in it) which allows the skin to breathe, yet keeps just the right amount of
moisture in the skin and stops the wound from drying out. You will notice that it is flexible and moves
just like skin when it is on.
