Plastifil Plastic Filler
Special film to be overlaid on adhesive immediately after it has been
applied. Prevents air entrapment when adhesive is condensed and
contoured into the repair area. Also allows for even distribution of adhesive.
Adhesion promoter to be used with 3M part numbers 5895, 5887, 4240, 4247
for the repair of polypropylene and ethylene propylene interior and exterior parts.
3M Plastifil is a flexible, polyester fine filler used for filling and finishing repairs to
plastic bumpers and components. Plastifil is suitable for filling rigid plastics such
as polyproylene, polyethylene, ABS, PMMA, PVC, polyurethane, polycabonate and
polyester. Not suitable for RIM flexible polyurethane.
