3M’s Science at Home provides teachers and parents with simple science experiments for kids that can be conducted at home by students ages 6-12. Demonstrated by 3M scientists and celebrities such as Miss America, these science experiments use common household items and are designed to reinforce core scientific principles. STEM education is critical to the future of science, and we’re committed to support schools everywhere through e-learning.
3Mgives supports initatives that increase student interest in STEM education, so that businesses are able to build a diverse pipeline of future leaders. For example, our 3M Science at Home project shares hands on instructional videos for re-creating 3M science experiments at home, using common household items. We extend our support further, maintaining our industry partnership with the Australian Academy of Science and sponsor of the Eureka Award for Emerging Leader in Science.
3Mgives enhances community vibrancy by improving standards of living, preparing youth for life-long success, increasing access to quality and diverse arts opportunities and contributing to global humanitarian relief efforts.
3Mgives invests in programs that foster sustainable communities and protects vulnerable habitats. 3M Australia is a platinum sponsor of NSW WIRES with funding and product donations to support their volunteers and wildlife rescue operations.
