The 3M range of half and full face reusable respirators and filters offers value and quality. 3M reusable respirators let you change your filters to
protect against certain particulates, gases and vapours, while using the same respirator. This is made possible by the unique 3M bayonet filter
fixing system which allows filters to be clicked into place.

Respiratory Protection
3M offers three types of respiratory protection for people whose jobs expose them to particles that can be inhaled: 1) Disposable Respirators; 2) Reusable
Respirators and 3) Powered and Supplied Air Respirators. All 3M respirators have been tested and meet the performance requirements of the Australian
and New Zealand Standard AS/NZ1716.

3M pioneered the first disposable maintenance free respirators almost 30 years ago. These convenient and easy to use respirators do not require
ongoing maintenance.
Four Step Selection Guide
Cupped or Flat Fold?
Choose between the traditional cupped
style and the newer flat fold which
is individually wrapped for added
convenience, as well as having an
exceptionally comfortable fit.
Valve or No Valve?
The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve is a
proprietary one way valve designed to
reduce heat and moisture build up and to
offer more comfortable wear in hot and
humid conditions. For example the 9913 is
also available with valve (9913V).
3M Disposable Respirators
P1 or P2 Respirators?
P1:
For mechanically generated particles use a P1 Filter: P1
is a rating for a respirator which meets the AS/NZS1716 for
mechanically generated particles e.g. particles formed by
crushing, grinding, drilling, sanding and cutting.
P2:
For mechanically and thermally generated particles use
a P2 Filter: P2 is a rating for a respirator which meets the AS/
NZS1716 for mechanically and thermally generated particles
e.g. those from welding fumes. They can also be used for
protection against biological particles e.g. Tuberculosis.
