Property risk relates to a broader area than just the land and buildings in question. It covers risks associated with the asset, the infrastructure and people. It looks at how a property is managed to minimise hazard exposure to individuals, whether they be occupants or visitors, and how the efficiency and effectiveness of the property can be improved.

In this episode, part 2 of 2, Mark & David discuss the following:
There are many types of risks relating to property covering an extensive area that includes things like fire and emergency management, working at heights, falls, confined spaces, chemicals, traffic management and plant, the list is exhaustive. Once a risk has been identified and controls implemented, regular reviews are needed to ensure the danger has not changed, or that other hazards are not introduced from the measures utilised. Properties are constantly changing, people are renovating, refurbishing, installing new plant, upgrading and so on, it is critical to note that these bring in additional hazards that need to be identified and controlled, the risks never stop. Tune in as we explore property risk and why it is such a significant area of concern to all the stakeholders involved.
