3M™ Finesse-it™ Hand Sanding Pad is a red rubber hand sanding pad designed to hold 1-1/4 inch or 1-3/8 inch pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) discs. The red end is firm, for effective defect leveling, and the other end has a soft, black vinyl face that helps produce a finer finish. The body is firm, durable, offers easy visibility and a comfortable grip.
The material allows adhesive to hold well and release with minimal residue. Both ends of this pad can be used to hold PSA sanding discs. Our 3M™ Finesse-it™ products are a line of specially engineered abrasives, compounds, polishes, and buffing pads to be used on OEM and baked refinish paints to remove defects, sand scratches, or swirl marks on a variety of painted surfaces. Our Finesse-it products are an integral part of a 3M recommended buffing system for repairing surface defects to clear coats, lacquered wood, solid surfaces, gelcoat, powder coat, industrial paint, acrylic, and glass.
