Greater Filtration in a Smaller Space
A positive element sealing mechanism reduces bypass of unfiltered fluid into the effluent stream. 3M™ DF series housings have a true "in-line" configuration of the inlet and outlet connections, saving space by allowing for installation without the additional piping and elbows required by conventional filter bag housings. The flow configuration of the 3M DF series housing does not have a "dirty chamber" that is common in bag filter housings and reduces the risk of cross contamination of dirty fluid into the clean effluent during filter element change-out. 3M DF series housings are designed to allow spent 3M™ DF series filter elements to be changed with minimized risk of spillage, or contact by the operator during the change-out process.
