Details

3M™ Glass Bubbles HGS18000 are hollow glass spheres designed for use in lightweight well cementing for the oil and gas industry. With a nominal density of 0.60 g/cc and an isostatic crush strength of 18,000 psi (pounds per square inch), HGS18000 are well-suited for use in ultra-deep wells.

HGS18000 Glass Bubbles are well-suited for use in ultra-deep wells as an additive for lightweight well cementing in the oil and gas industry. HGS18000 Glass Bubbles added to lightweight cement slurries help prevent problems associated with excessive overbalance, including reduced top of cement (TOC) and thus the need for remedial squeeze.
