3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape 901 is a semi-bleached kraft paper coated splicing tape comprised of a repulpable backing and adhesive mounted on a translucent red plastic film liner. It is primarily used for butt splicing and to tape lip and tail on unfinished splices.
3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape 901 is a single coated splicing tape designed primarily for uncoated papers. This 0.1 mm thick tape is comprised of a white backing and a green repulpable adhesive. This tape is totally repulpable, eliminating the need to remove splice from waste. It is also repulpable in water and prevents contamination of paper mill broke by non-repulpable splice material. The white backing readily accepts most inks and coatings and can be printed on. A non-repulpable, translucent red, UPVC liner assists with tape application.
