3M™ Nextel™ Fabric DF-6 is a woven fabric made from 3M™ Nextel™ 610 Grade continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber that is designed to maintain strength under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. Our Nextel structural fabric DF-6 outperforms the useful limits of other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

These high modulus fabrics are made from 3M's 610 ceramics fibers which feature a Filament Tensile Modulus of 380 GPa. They are 99% alumina, electrically nonconductive, electromagnetically transparent, and more thermally conductive than glass.
