3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-30, woven from 312 Grade continuous filament ceramic 1800 denier yarn, is designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 2200°F (1204°C). Medium weight with good air permeability, AF-30 is ideal for high temperature industrial and aerospace applications, and is available both sized and heat cleaned. Standard width: 36 inches.

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-30 is woven from 3M™ Nextel™ 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide yarn. Due to the properties of Nextel 312 fiber, this product outperforms the useful temperature limits of many other textiles, is medium weight, electrically insulating and flexible. Nextel fabric AF-30 has medium-high air permeability and is often used as a component in thermal barrier constructions. It is used in combination with other Nextel products such as sewing thread and high temperature materials such as bulk fiber/insulation products to construct thermal barrier components.

3M™ Nextel™ Style AF woven ceramic fabrics are designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements. They are heat, flame and oxidation resistant; and chemically resistant, lightweight, electrically insulating and flexible.
