3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-29 is woven from 3M™ Nextel™ 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide roving that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. Our Nextel fabric AF-29 outperforms the useful limits of other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-29 is woven from 3M™ Nextel™ 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide roving. Due to the properties of Nextel 312 fiber, this medium weight product outperforms the useful temperature limits of many other textiles; it’s electrically insulating and flexible. Nextel fabric AF-29 has medium air permeability and is often used as a component in thermal barrier constructions. It is used in combination with other Nextel products such as sewing thread and high temperature materials such as bulk fiber/insulation products to construct thermal barrier components.

3M™ Nextel™ Style AF woven ceramic fabrics are designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements. They are heat, flame and oxidation resistant; and chemically resistant, lightweight, electrically insulating and flexible.
