In this clinical case, a 25-year-old Asian female presents for consultation with a chief complaint of mandibular crowding. She has a non-contributory medical and dental history, except for a lateral periodontal cyst at #26, which was addressed by a periodontist and resolved uneventfully (Figure 1).
