Direction Signs

Direction signs inform and advise road users about the route they are travelling and give directions and distances to destinations on the route. They also identify motorists' service facilities.

For rural areas a minimum performance level of 3M™ Scotchlite™ High Intensity (Class 1) reflective sheeting is recommended for direction signs.

For direction signs on urban, suburban and city roads a minimum performance level equivalent to 3M™ Scotchlite™ Diamond Grade™ VIP (Class 1W) reflective sheeting is recommended.
