3M™ POST-IT™ PICTURE PAPER 'THE PIC THAT STICKS™' PROMOTION

HOW TO ENTER

Purchase either a specially marked 3M Post-it Picture Paper 4 x 6 inch matt (25 sheets); 4 x 6 inch semi-gloss (25 sheets); or a 4 x 6 inch semi gloss (65 sheets) product from a participating outlet during the relevant promotional period. To be entered into both the major prize draw and the relevant retailer specific draw either:

  1. Send an SMS to 19900212 containing your full name, State of residence, the code found on the back of the on pack coupon and if the product was purchased from Woolworths or Officeworks, the name of the store; or
  2. Visit www.3m.com.au/picthatstickspromo and follow the prompts to the entry page and input your full name, State of residence, the code found on the back of the on pack coupon, contact phone number, email address, and if the product was purchased from Woolworths or Officeworks, the name of the store.

    3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process (including but not limited to tampering by way of use of techniques designed to avoid the payment of SMS). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  4. Each entry will qualify the entrant for the major draw. If the entrant purchased the specified product from either Woolworths or Officeworks and the entrant specifies that retailer in their entry, the entrant will also be entered in to the retailer specific prize draw for that retailer. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement (one major prize entry and one retailer specific prize entry); and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
  5. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) and product barcode for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase and product barcode for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry in this promotion.
  6. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  7. Premium SMS cost is 55c. Entrants must have premium service access. SMS winners will be contacted by SMS and/or telephone. SMS entries via the Internet are ineligible. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
  8. Entries for the major prize draw and Officeworks draw open on 01.10.2006. Entries for the major prize draw and the Officeworks draw close 5pm AEDST on 31.12.2006. Entries for the Woolworths draw open on 01.11.2006 and close at 5pm AEDST on 30.11.2006. The draws will take place at First Floor, 187 Johnston St, Fitzroy VIC 3065 on 12.01.2007 (major prize and Officeworks draw) and 22.12.2006 (Woolworths draw) at 12pm AEDST. Winners will be notified by mail and results will be published in The Australian on 19.01.2007. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    9. MAJOR PRIZE DRAW

  9. The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for 4 adults to Los Angeles, USA valued at up to $29,440 depending on date and point of departure including return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city (if necessary), 6 nights twin share accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Beverley Hills, breakfast for 4 daily, 7 days car hire, entry to Universal Studios for 4 people, Hollywood City Pass for 4 people including entry to the Hollywood Wax Museum, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood Museum in the Max Factor building, Tour of Stars Homes, filming locations and the Walk of Fame and AUD$1,000 spending money. Additional spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken by 31.10.2007 and is subject to booking and flight availability.

    10. RETAILER SPECIFIC PRIZE DRAWS

  10. OFFICEWORKS

    The first valid entry drawn from all Officeworks entries will win a trip for 2 adults to Maroochydore, QLD valued at up to $3,100 depending upon whether or not airfares are required and on date and point of departure including 3 nights twin share accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Coolum, continental breakfast daily, return airport transfers, Sun Spa Entry for 2 people, unlimited green fees per adult per day at the Golf Course including motorized cart and 1 x bucket of range golf balls per person per day and Noosa Shuttle buses (includes free shuttle transfers from resort to Hastings St, Noosa at specific times during the day). If the winner is not from Queensland the prize includes return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city. If the winner is from Queensland flights can be taken from the winner’s closest of either Cairns, Townsville, Proserpine, Mackay or Rockhampton to Brisbane for 2
    with travel to the Hyatt Regency Coolum including coach transfers for 2 people or 3 days small car hire (to be determined by the winner in agreement with the Promoter) and pick up and drop off at Brisbane airport. Prize must be taken by 31.10.2007 and is subject to booking and flight availability. Prize cannot be taken between 10.12.2006 and 26.01.2007 and during the June/July 2007 Australian School Holidays.

    11. Spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.

  11. WOOLWORTHS

    The first valid entry drawn from all Woolworths entries received will win a $4,000 WISH gift card.  The next 5 valid entries drawn will each win a $200 WISH gift card. The WISH gift card can be redeemed at any participating Woolworths and Safeway supermarket, CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY branded outlets, Food For Less, Flemings, BIG W, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith, Powerhouse, Tandy, BWS, First Estate and Dan Murphy’s stores.
  12. During the entire duration of any prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. The winner (and any companion/s) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in agreement with the winner but in the event that agreement can not be reached, the Promoter reserves the right to determine the itinerary.
  13. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Winners may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
  14. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, or by the time stipulated by the Promoter, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. Prize winners will be responsible for any amendment fees issued by travel providers once booking has been confirmed.
  15. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a gift card are not included. Any unused balance of a gift card will not be awarded as cash.
  16. Redemption of any tickets, gift card or passes is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the ticket , gift card or pass.
  17. Car hire prize is subject to standard rental conditions. Petrol and insurance is not included. The winner must have a valid credit card for insurance purposes. The driver must be 21 years or over and have a current valid Australian driver’s licence.
  18. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  19. Total prize pool value is up to $37,540.00.  Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  20. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 20.04.2007 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Results will be published in The Australian on 27.04.2007.
  21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  22. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  23. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  24. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
    1. Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
    2. Any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    3. Any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
    4. Any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry;
    5. Any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; and/or
    6. a prize.
  25. As a condition of accepting a prize the winner (and any companion/s if applicable) may be required to sign legal documentation as reasonably required by the Promoter, Prize Suppliers, and/or organisers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. 
  26. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
