Film IJ8624 and compatible overlaminate 8524 uses a system covered by 3M patents and pending patents that includes a specially-designed tool, the 3M's Textured Surface Applicator TSA-1, and exclusive installation techniques. The installation process, while easier to do than vehicle wraps, does require training. Additional application tools are available to assist in corners, edges and grout lines such as TSA-2,TSA-3 and TSA-4.
